Goal markets overs Challenge
About time i started posting again and need a thread to track my results but im sure it will go wrong as soon as i post like it usually does. Trying the goal markets. 3 different markets, 3 banks or starting bets trying to roll on to the next bet untill maybe banking some profit hopefully.

1st bet bank- Total goals- 1 or more- Starting bet £50 very low odds and not everyones cup of tea but as close to a sure bet you can get unless you pick a 0-0, with the right selection process it is possible to get a 100% strike rate over a month Odds will prob be 1.07/1.10 and could be a selection everyday to make it pay

2nd bet bank- Over 1.5gls - Starting bet £20 odds of around 1.3/1.5 selections maybe every other day with a chance of a decent strike rate at better odds.

3rd bet bank- Over 2.5gls - Starting bank £5 odds 1.7/2.4 a lot more risky this one hence the small stake and prob only 2 or 3 a week.

First selection 1/12/10

Bank 1 £50
Ipswich v West brom- Total gls 1 £50 @ 1.07

Bank 2 £20
Sporting Lisbon v Lille- Over 1.5 gls £20 @ 1.39

Bank 3 £5
No Bet

Good luck all and sorry my selections have been pure rubbish lately. So i urge do not follow these. Just putting them up to keep track and to see if its worth carrying on with in the long run.

GL Dave - tho am a bit surprised by your 1 goal bet tonight, I'm expecting us (ITFC) to either get well-stuffed by the Baggies, or fight back after our dire derby performance on Sun Icon_biggrin

Ipswich v West brom- Total gls 1 £50 @ 1.07 = 1-0 strange result but a winning bet all it needed was 1 goal or more in the match to win but it was close well done Ipswich and Ryor great result much better than my team getting beat by the blues now im starting to worry. +£3.36 Thumbs
Bank now £53.36 onto next bet

Bank 2 £20
Sporting Lisbon v Lille- Over 1.5 gls £20 @ 1.39= 1-0 Icon_frown -£20 bad luck in this one knew first post bad luck would get me almost went for the A.madrid game which had 5 gls but decided on this as i thought lisbon would get a couple. oh well will invest another £20 and try again and see if my bad posting luck turns

Bank now= -£20
New bank= £20 on next bet

Bank 3 £5
No Bet

Good luck all and sorry my selections have been pure rubbish lately. So i urge do not follow these. Just putting them up to keep track and to see if its worth carrying on with in the long run.

RE: Goal markets overs Challenge
2/12/10

Bank 1 =£53.36 - S.Bucharest v Liverpool- Total gls 1 or more @1.12
This could be a risky one as Liverpool have had a couple of 0-0 is in this group the last meeting between these two produced 5 goals with Liverpool winning 4-1, so im fairly confident that there wil be at least 1 goal tonight at good odds for this type of bet.

Bank 2 = -£20
New investment £20 - R vienna v Porto over 1.5 gls @1.29

RE: Goal markets overs Challenge
well done with the Ipswich bet yesterday Dave - I'd certainly never have predicted us to win except that you never know in cup footie, and RK had changes forced upon him which worked out well - lucky for your bet that we missed a hatful of sitters Icon_biggrin

Sorry about Villa, were you there? Disgraceful by Brum, never liked em - awful pitch, dirty fouling players, ugly football, aggressive fans - and then last night ...wouldn't be surprised if that affected our 2018 bid - R5l reported news cuttings being circulated around the voters this am, tho they didn't say what of ... coulda been Sun Times article.

Yeah it was a great result but the bet would of won if ipswich had of scored 2 3 or 4 as i only needed 1 goal or more in total for the match hence the very short odds, was a bit close for comfort though, thought it was a game that would throw up a few goals.
I bet your looking forward to a two legged tie with Arsenal, should be fun but i'll be rooting for Ipswich, aways good to see a championship side do well in the cup, just hope the blues scum don't make it through. It was shocking was'nt there myself but heard all about it today.
You're right horrible football club alltogether, i grew up about a mile away from the ground and still ended up supporting the Villa, says it all really. Been there a few times and never enjoyed it grotty old place and they're not football fans just thugs looking for a row. Could do without a team like that in the best league in the world not a good advertisement for english football not surprised we got voted out first round although theres alot more behind that than will ever come out in the public.Thumbs

Bank 1 =£59.47
Safe bank=£0
Profit= £9.47
St Pauli V Kaiserlauten- Total goals 1 or more @ 1.08 - Lots of goals in both teams matches this season and previous 5 games between teams has produced 15 goals so hopefully at least 1 tonight.

Bank 2 = £25.72
Safe bank= -£20
Profit = -£14.28

No bet tonight

Bank 3 =£5 Roosendaal v Waalwijk over 2.5 gls @ 1.63 The juliper league is a pretty high scoring one and these two teams have plenty of goals in their matches this season also previous 2 meetings have ended 2-1 0-3.

Couple of other ones i fancy but won't be risking money but will put up to see how they do.

Oberhausen v Aachen- correct score 2-1 / 1-2 around 10's for both

Le havre v metz - Draw @ 3.25 and 1-1 @ 7.0

4/12/10

Bank 1 = £64.01
Safe Bank= £0
Profit= £14.01

Wigan v Stoke- Total goals 1 or more @ 1.11 Bit of a risky one but nice odds for this type of bet, Both teams no known for scoring lots of goals but Stoke have scored 9 in their last 4 with Wiigan only scoring 3 last 3 games between these two has produced 9 goals so one will do today.

Bank 2 = £25.72
Safe bank = -£20
Profit = -£14.28

Derby v Norwich - Over 1.5gls @ 1.3 - Derby are bang in form sitting 4th but Norwich sit just below in 5th so on paper this looks like a tight one and could end up 0-0 knowing my luck. Only two of Drbys league games have finised Under 1.5 this season against sheff utd and Swansea. Norwich 4 games. this could be a risky one but i fancy both teams to get at least 1 and maybe Derby to nick it 2-1.

Bank 3 = £8.02
Safe bank= £0
Profit = £3.02

B.Monchengladbach v Hannover - Over 2.5gls @ 1.69 - B.monch last 5 games have produced an amazing 23 goals with them concedeing heavily and a 4-0 win and 3-3 draw. Hannovers last 5 has produced 17 winning 3-0 and 3-2 in the last two. Previous two meetings between the teams has produced 15 goals 5-3 and 1-6. prob has 0-0 written all over it.

Others that i like the look of but just trialling but was nice to get correct score in last night, i may start investing if they do well.

Northampton v Stockport - 1-1 @ 8.0
Mllwall v Scunthorpe - 1-1 @ 8.6
Wigan v Stoke - 1-1 @ 7.0

Over 1.5 gls
Shalke v B.munich @ 1.34

Another good day overall with the Baggies v Newcastle coming in early on, The Utrecht game was a close one and it just about came in and Dortmund left it very late to score a 2nd 87mins but got there in the end and allowed me to bank a few quid. So profit all round just hoping the run continues theres bound to be losers at some point it''s just trying to keep them to a minimum over the month. Looking at stats for hours to try and pick out qualifiers is a bit of a drain but hopefully worth it in the end.....stops me losing on the horses though.

No bet as of yet could'nt find one but may try an inplay bet if something pops up later, unlikely and disappointing as i thought id find at least 1 a day. not worth risking for sake of it though.

No bet tonight either

Bank 3 = £9.40
Safe bank = +£10
Profit = £14.40

Napoli v Palermo Over 2.5 gls @ 1.80 - Now this is a risk as i don't usually go for Italian sides with this type of bet but there is money in the safe bank and with this kind of bet you have to take a risk, 79% of palermo's games have ended over 2.5 and 50% of Napoli's have. 4 of the last 6 meetings between the two have ended 2-1. There have been 15 goals in Napoli's last 3 games and 11 in Palermo's last 3 so on paper it looks like a high scoring match.
Thinking correct score maybe 1-2 / 2-2 but won't be backing those thats just my conclusion looking at the stats.

Thanks Ryor spent the last 45mins looking through tonights game and this is the only one that stood out bit disappointing but it is a monday. Would have gone for the premier league fixture but the less said about that the better. Im not looking forward to watching that and may give it a miss. Decided to keep well clear of betting on my own team these days.Thumbs

Bursaspor v Rangers Total goals 1 or more @ 1.11 Bit of a nothing game this one but pretty high odds for this type of bet and im sure both teams will want to go out on a win especially Bursaspor who are yet to get a point, Rangers are in decent form and only 1 goal needed to win this bet so here's hoping.

RE: Goal markets overs Challenge
Wednesday 8/12/10

Bank 1 = £83.36
Safe bank= £0
Profit= £33.36
Run= 6/6

Zilina v S. Moscow - Total gls 1 or more @ 1.08 - Not a great competetive game tonight but Zilina have let in 17 in this group scoring 2 and losing 7-0 at home to marseille and 3-0 to tonights opponents. Moscow have'nt been in great form. so hopefully at least 1 will hit the back of the net tonight.

Bank 2 = £27.75
Safe bank = £0
profit= £7.75
Run= 4/5

CFR Cluj v Roma - Over 1.5 gls @ 1.3 - another Italian team but this time in Europe so hopefully it'll be different. not much time for a write up as i have to go out. but both teams involved in high scoring games and i think theres at least a couple in this one.

Bank 3 now = £9.00
Safe bank = +£5
Profit = £9.00
Run = 4/5

B.Munich v FC Basel - Over 2.5 @ 1.6 - Low odds for this type of bet but last two times they have met its been over 2.5 and Bayern have been in some high scoring games this season.

Good luck all Thumbs

RE: Goal markets overs Challenge
Just got back in at half time and it's not as good as last night but just waiting for one goal in each game. Although the Zilina game has been delayed by 15 mins so still a long way to go in that one. Hopefully an exciting round of second halfs fingers crossed. Think ill be biting my nails Thumbs

Bank 1 = £89.72
Safe bank= £0
Profit= £39.72
Run= 7/7

Swansea v Millwall - Total gls 1 or more @ 1.11 - Well this game will take me to almost double the starting bank or to £0. Decent odds but for a reason, both teams are no known for high scoring usually so i have probably shot myself in the foot with this one. However both teams come into the game winning 3-1 and 3-0, Swansea don't concede alot of goals and usually nick the 3 points by the odd goal, millwall are not as good but have a decent defence apart from a 6-1 loss to watford. both teams recent form is average but last 3 games for Swansea have produced 9 goals and Millwall only 4 goals. so on paper it looks like a tight one but anything can happen. at least 1 goal please.

Bank 2 = £36.48
Safe bank = £0
profit= £16.48
Run= 5/6

NO BET tonight

Bank 3 = £9.15
Safe bank = +£10
Profit = £14.15
Run = 5/6

Telstar v Helmond sport - Over 2.5gls @ 1.76 - This is a league with plenty of goals Helmond smashed 5 in their last game and their last 3 games have finished over 2.5. Telstar are over 2.5gls in two out of their last 3 games. two previous games between the teams has produced 6 goals.

Good luck all Thumbs

RE: Goal markets overs Challenge
Saturday 11/12/10

Bank 1 = £99.13
Safe bank= £0
Profit= £49.13
Run= 8/8

Newcastle v Liverpool - Total gls 1 or more @ 1.09 - Both teams have seen high scoring games this season, Liverpool have'nt failed to score in a game since October against Everton and Newcastle have scored in all but two and have only one 0-0 this season against draw specialists Fulham. so there could be a couple in tonights game the only worrying thing is that Newcastle have a new manager and hopefully that won't have a negative affect on the game.

Bank 2 = £36.48
Safe bank = £0
profit= £16.48
Run= 5/6

Bristol City v Derby - Over 1.5 gls @ 1.34 - Funny game this with Derby near the top and Bristol near the bottom, but Bristol are the inform team winning 3 of last and Derby losing 3 of last 4. Last 3 games for Bristol have seen 9 goals and for Derby 11 goals. Last 3 between the two have been over 1.5 twice. I predict a couple of goals but would'nt be surprised if it went 1-0 either way.

Bank 3 now= £5
Safe bank = +£5
Profit = £5
Run = 5/7

Stoke v Blackpool - Over 2.5 @ 1.63 - Both teams been banging in goals this season and i see this being a high scoring game.

Good luck all Thumbs

Bank 1 = £107.63

Bolton v Blackburn - Total gls 1 or more @ 1.08 - Both teams are in decent form last 3 games for bolton has seen 11 goals and Blackburn 13 goals in 6 H2H there have been at least two goals in each match so surely they can bag at least one between them.

Bank 2 = £28.30
Safe bank = +£20
profit= £28.30
Run= 6/7

Heerenveen v Twente - Over 1.5 gls @ 1.31 - Both teams have been in some high scoring matches Twente have scored 9 in their last 3 Heerenveen have 8. Profit = £0

No bet at the moment.

May have more selections for the later games, will see how these get on first, will prob need another 5 or 6 winning bets before i bank some profit from bank 1 so hopefully with a bit of luck that will keep rolling on. bound to find a loser sometime. good luck all Thumbs
