Football Season 2016/17 matchday bets
Aside from my season long bets this thread will be for weekly bets Singles Doubles Trebles and some Accas, As Football is the sport that i lose the most money on over a season it will be good to keep track of my bets and try and cut down the amount of selections 6 and 7 folds need to be replaced with doubles and trebles.
Discipline has always been a problem for me with football and as it used to be my main focus for betting this thread can hopefully bring that and help me see where im going wrong.

Starting Bank £500 will see how quickly this runs out.

As the season begins my main focus will be both teams to score as form will be all over the place. Bets will mainly come from UK football, some European and possibly North and South America.

Bet 1 30/7/16
Stranraer v Motherwell
Partick v Queens Park
£10 BTTS Double @ 2.5/1 will hill

On a bad run already did not expect to start this badly, more disappointed about this one as the Malmo game looked like the banker plus the other Swedish and Danish games finished with both teams scoring but i had Malmo down as being the best bet.

Friday 5th August

Fulham v Newcastle - although it's the first game and there is no form Newcastle have a decent squad for this league and Fulham have lost their 2 best players, looks a crazy price to me and should be odds on but what do I know.

Newcastle to win £25 Evens

RE: Football Season 2016/17 matchday bets
Always shocks in the 1st round of this cup.

For that reason I've gone for a speculative doubles as four fold from:
GRIMSBY at Derby
SWINDON at QPR
CRAWLEY at Wolves
OXFORD at Brum

Also done an acca:
Ipswich
Villa
Bristol City
Bradford
Walsall
Huddersfield
Sheffield United
Both teams to score in Peterborough v Wimbledon
Over 2.5 goals in Barnsley v Northampton
Over 2.5 goals in Brum v Oxford

RE: Football Season 2016/17 matchday bets
No luck in the cup tonight. Will put my bets up for Saturday now for the footy as I have already done them.

1)
0.25 point doubles and 0.25 point treble
Ipswich to win both halves at Brentford 10/1
Portsmouth to win both halves at Crewe 7/1
Villa to win both halves at Luton (EFL Cupar) 5/1

2)
0.25 point acca
Ipswich
Newcastle
Coventry
Sheffield United
Portsmouth
Notts county
Rangers

141/1

3)
0.1 points trebles and 0.1 point 5-fold
ITFC to win both halves
Newcastle to win both halves
Pompey to win both halves
Man City to win both halves
Villa (cup) to win both halves

5 fold at a whopping 5340/1

4)
4-fold as trebles equaling 0.9 points
ITFC to win both halves
Newcastle to win both Halves
Man City to win both halves
Pompey to win both halves

4-fold pays 950/1

5)
5-fold for 0.25 points
Newcastle
Sheffield United
Coventry
Portsmouth
Notts county

26/1

6) 1 point single
ITFC to win both halves at 10/1

7) 1 point single
ITFC to win 4-0 at 66/1

8) 0.5 point single
Ipswich -2 goals handicap

9)
4 fold at 0.1 point
ITFC -1
Pompey -1
Wolves -1
Coventry -1

272/1

10)
Single at 0.2 point
Freddie Sears to score 1st & 4-0 Ipswich

Price not up yet

Just a pound a point

Put bets up now as will be at the footy early Saturday in the pubs. And will probably forget if I leave it til Friday. Ipswich at the forefront of bets as I fancy us to tear Brentford apart Saturday.

Good luck all

Good luck all

Just added some combis of anytime and first goal scorers for Ipswich at Brentford all 4-0 finishes. Sears, Murphy, McGoldrick and Bishop. Only at 15p at huge odds.

Also just added 10 p trebles from these 7 selections and the 181000/1 7-fold just in case. All to win both halves:
Leicester 5/1
Man City 6/5
Aston Villa 4/1
Coventry 11/2
Ipswich 12/1
Newcastle 4/1
Portsmouth 11/2

Obviously if 4 of those could land, it's a lovely profit for just £3.50 spend.

I like the idea of theses bets mate good luck some cracking odds.
Villa were truly shocking last night so i hoping we get it right at the weekend.
That's some confidence you've got in Ipswich i think they will win but i fancy Brentford to score.

RE: Football Season 2016/17 matchday bets
Dipping my toe in the water today in the BTTS market it's early in the season so backing with caution

1)Newcastle v Huddersfield ( 20pt Banker selection Single )
2)Sheffield v Rochdale
3)Mansfield v Cheltenham ( 4 pt treble )
-------------------------
4)Brentford v Ipswich ( 3pt fourfold )
-------------------------
5)Barnet v Accrington Stan
6)lLeyton v Newport (2 pt sixfold )
--------------------------
7)MK Dons v Milwall
8)Peterbro v Bradford ( 1pt eightfold )
--------------------------
30 pts staked @ £1
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Tiny interest in these games BTTS and no draw

Brentford v Ipswich
MKDons v Milwall
Barnet v Acc Stan
Crewe v Portsmouth
Exeter v Hartlepool
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Good luck all
